A>B: RECOLLECTION
Colour Studio
PROJECT 2 // OCTOBER 2024
RECOLLECTION explores the complicated relationship between photography and memory through a series of pre-existing, deconstructed childhood images. This abstracted approach to exploring colour seeks to uncover the inherent sense of nostalgia and connection to childhood memories we carry with ourselves through to adulthood. Through an experimentation of colour, pattern, and form, a reconstruction of these portraits ultimately seek to challenge connections to identity and personal history as an ever-evolving product of time.
