This brief led me to design a book comprising of visually captivating and unique approaches to mark making. Through an primary involvement in analogue processes, I was able to transcend my own ideas of design practice, eventually leading me towards experimentation in polaroid manipulation. Drawing inspiration from Greek-American artist, Lucas Samaras, this series of polaroid transformations involved the use of bleach to create these self-evolving marks of artistic expression. My abstracted design approach in this brief highlights my willingness to break away from conventional methods of design to produce an honest expression and artistic mark.
